If you know how to make good use of the mud, you can grow beautiful lotuses.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist

About me.

Thank you for your presence.

My passion for healing work is deeply rooted in my own journey, which has led me to believe that with the right ingredients and conditions, our suffering can be transformed into a deeper capacity to love and care for ourselves, others, and the world around us. I am honored to be part of and witness to this beautiful, ongoing transformation in others.

My intersection as a first generation immigrant, global majority, neuro-spicy, queer woman has taught me the importance of truly feeling seen. We will never share all facets of our identities, but I am committed to naming the existence of the many forms of oppression that impede our collective liberation, and listening with an open heart to your experiences with the hardships and joys of being who you are in this current place and time.

My meditation practice has been invaluable anchors to ground my mind, heart, body, and soul. Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, Plum Village’s tradition of engaged Buddhism, and my sangha have been a well of wisdom and guidance for my life and work. Engaged Buddhism combines my love of spirituality, Zen Buddhist roots, and passion for social justice.

In my free time, I enjoy stories in every, shape, and form, whether through music, books, films, language, and even food! I also love plants (especially natives!) and animals. I’ve been lucky enough to capture some of their wonder through my camera lens, as you might see on my website. Last but not least, I am constantly singing and saying silly things to my cat.
